Love and the Great Silence

There is nothing fair or lovely about life, although sometimes it is both.

Life is simply what it is - unapologetically bold in its approach. It can bowl me over with beauty or leave me flattened by grief, and doesn’t even blink at my reaction.

If I curse the gods or fate, my life is bound by anger and regret. If I let the sadness dissolve me completely, love is all that is left -

love and the great silence underlying every breath.
